Consumer Rights Act Guidance from TrustMark

Consumer Rights Act Guidance from TrustMark

To help steer and support TrustMark-registered firms through the Consumer Rights Act, TrustMark have jointly developed assured advice with Buckinghamshire and Surrey Trading Standards, as part of a dedicated primary authority scheme.  The guidance provides information about the new consumer rights and remedies, scenarios and advice regarding the main requirements of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 as regards cancellation periods.

Simon Ayers, CEO of Trustmark, is keen to assist Scheme Operators and their TrustMark-registered firms to become compliant with the Consumer Rights Act and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) laws as it will help them to treat their customers fairly, which in turn will boost consumer confidence.
