Complaints about misuse of the BBA Logo or passing off
If you become aware that a company is making a false or
misleading claim that they and/or their products are BBA approved,
then please do let us know.
The BBA logo is a valuable marketing tool and for this
reason it is necessary for us to restrict its use to those
companies under surveillance by the BBA. Therefore we
will take action against unscrupulous companies using the logo
without authorisation.
If you wish to take independent
action contact the Local
Authority Trading Standards Office that covers the
area in which the company you are complaining about is
based and/or report the matter to the Advertising Standards
Authority.
