Product Technologist- BBA Testing Services

We are …

the BBA and our role is to encourage innovation and provide reassurance in the construction industry, primarily by assessing the fitness for purpose of a wide range of construction products.

Employing some 130 people from our Watford base, the BBA has been at the forefront of technological change in construction for over 40 years. We invest heavily in our people to help us maintain and develop both our reputation and service delivery to customers.

We are … looking for a Product Technologist for our Testing Services. The work involves testing the performance and durability of a range of construction products and systems, identifying test results that might indicate failure and reporting the results. .

You will … Be flexible with a good practical approach coupled with a working knowledge of science and maths, minimum grade A to C GCSE. Experience in a testing environment is required and a relevant technical qualification would be an advantage

Technical Trainee

We want ….
People to join our Technical Trainee Programme and benefit from working and training in a structured technical environment alongside studying for a recognised technical qualification.

You will ……
Be self-motivated, a good communicator and keen to begin a career in a technical discipline within a forward-looking company. You will need 5 A to C grade GCSEs including Maths, English and a Science and 2 A levels, one of which must be in a Maths or Science subject.
