Highways and Bridge Deck Waterproofing

The Highway Authorities Product Approval Scheme (HAPAS) was set up in 1995 to establish a nationally recognised approval scheme for innovative products and systems used in highway works.

BBA Test Services carry out testing in support of BBA HAPAS Certification on a diverse range of highways products including Bridge Deck Waterproofing, Manhole Reinstatement Systems, Crack Sealants and Bitumen, and Asphalt products.

Successful HAPAS assessment results in the issue of a Certificate or Report which provides highway engineers with product performance, design and installation data, invaluable to the product choice and project planning processes.
