KeyMark
BBA Testing Services has been awarded the status of Registered
Laboratory for the measurement of thermal properties within the
KeyMark scheme for thermal insulation.
The KeyMark scheme for thermal insulation is a pan-European
voluntary scheme which supplements CE marking. The scheme requires
the use of laboratories that meet the rules for performing thermal
conductivity tests to ensure a full transparency and a high level
of competence and accuracy within those laboratories and to provide
a consistent approach throughout Europe.
Insulation materials can be tested in the form of boards, slabs,
rolls, batts and loose fill (granular and bead).
The requirements and frequency for continued testing are
detailed in the relevant standards below, and the BBA can also
carry out sampling and factory production control.
