The BBA is exhibiting at the RCi Show which is being held at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on November 1st & 2nd.
Experts from the BBA will be on Stand K6 to discuss the importance of BBA certification, for both manufacturers and installers, and how it offers installers, clients, building owners, users and insurers confidence and assurance via its trusted – and independent – third party certification and assessments.
Show visitors can find out about the rigorous assessment procedures products are subjected to in order to gain coveted Agrément certificates, which are recognised by Building Control, government, specifiers and industry insurers.
Visitors can also learn about BBA CIT Ltd (Consultancy, Investigation and Training), an organisation launched to tackle problems associated with property insulation; a CIT representative will be available to answer questions. CIT’s expert investigators advise on the current condition of buildings or when they are being recommended for retrofit intervention works. The service is available to local authorities, housing associations, government departments, legal practices, property speculators, residents or anyone dealing with the consequences of inappropriate insulation retrofits or improperly installed insulation products.
The British Board of Agrément was formed in 1966 and is the UK’s leading authority on the assessment of insulation products and installation techniques.
