The Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012
(as amended) were further amended in April 2022.

The amendments introduce new requirements for fire performance and for materials to be used for the mitigation of radon.

BBA Certificates are to be updated, but users should be aware that this will take some time and that, in the meantime, the Northern Ireland Regulations quoted and the associated comments may not be valid.

This does not affect the performance characteristics quoted in Certificates and potential users should ensure that these parameters enable a product to satisfy the requirements of the current Regulations.
