BBA certification is recognised throughout the
construction industry as a symbol of quality and reassurance. It's the vital ingredient
in the provision of assurance, quality and integrity to a plethora of stakeholders in
the construction industry.
We've found certificates
based on what you're searching for:
In line with the new amended Building Regulations for Wales and the Technical Handbooks supporting The Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (as amended), our Certificates which relate to external walls of a building are being reviewed.
In Scotland, with some exceptions, claddings and insulation that do not achieve at least a Classification of A2 to BS EN 13501-1 will no longer be eligible for use buildings with a storey height more than 11m above ground as of
1st October 2019.
In Wales, materials with a classification less than A2-s1, d0 to BS EN 13501-1 will no longer be permitted for use on some buildings with a storey height more than 18m above ground as of 13th January 2020.
Affected Certificate(s) will be updated as soon as possible but for now users of a BBA Certificate should read it in conjunction with this statement and the contents of the Technical Handbooks (Scotland) and revised Approved Document B (Wales) which take precedence over the existing wording of the Certificate.
