Every product, material and system, is exposed to a variety of diverse and changing environmental effects. Without testing, it is difficult to understand the short or long-term consequences this exposure will have. Simulating real world scenarios and weathering helps remove the guess work and provides data-led analysis.

That’s why at the BBA we offer Weather Resistance and Wind testing, establishing performance capabilities and detecting early developmental errors and failures – so you can rectify any problem.

Our expert Test Team carefully examines the product under a range of weathering conditions, both physical and chemical, from Wind Resistance – which tests the overall structural strength and resistance to damage and to Thermal Cycling – which examines the resistance to extreme high and low temperatures.

Physical – breaking down of materials through direct contact with atmospheric conditions such as heat, cold, water, ice or wind.

Chemical – the adverse effects of atmospheric or biologically produced chemical

The BBA’s Test facilities allow us to provide a comprehensive range of services covering a wide variety of products from; insulation materials and systems to windows and doors, sealants and adhesives, flooring materials and structural components.
