A Reminder: What is it?

World Quality Week is an annual campaign celebrated by the CQI (Chartered Quality Institute), which raises awareness of the quality management profession globally. The theme for this year’s event will focus on realising your competitive potential.

What is the BBA doing to support?

For the BBA, a focus on Quality isn’t limited to just a week in the calendar, but is part and parcel of our DNA.  World Quality Week is another opportunity to join forces with others in our industry that share our vision.

The BBA’s vision is to ensure total peace of mind in the built environments we live, work and play in and, as a champion of quality to our industry for over 55 years, the industry we serve expects and supports our drive in being a leading example.

Sharing these values, we asked a number of our colleagues to share their views on what quality means to them. You can watch our second interview, with Carol Jackson, Quality Engineer at the BBA, below!

We asked Carol a few questions.

  • What does quality mean to you?
  • How does your role enable the BBA to be a Quality Champion?
  • Why is it important for the BBA to drive Quality?
  • – Given the stricter regulatory regime coming into effect, what can the BBA do more of to ensure peace of mind in the built environment?
