No, but we work with our own videographer & photographer who is able to provide a quote to do this on your behalf. While customer products are in the care of the BBA during testing and certification processes, the BBA works as a custodian in protecting customer and product IP. Because of this, we don’t allow any unauthorised filming or photography on site and, when requested and provided with a full brief, are able to provide a quote for obtaining footage of product testing where available.
Building Regulations and guidance have been amended across the UK several times during 2022, mainly covering fire safety, energy economy and ventilation.
BBA Certificates are to be updated to allow for these new requirements, but users should be aware that this will take some time and that, in the meantime, the Regulations quoted and the associated comments may not be valid. This does not affect the performance characteristics quoted in Certificates and potential users should ensure that these parameters enable a product to satisfy the requirements of the current Regulations.
