We are sending our congratulations to Reza Najmi who has qualified as a Chartered Engineer!

Reza, a Certification Engineer in our Civils & Highways team, successfully applied to the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3) for the qualification and can now use the post nominal designation CEng.

Reza demonstrated his knowledge of soil reinforcement products and systems as well as commitment to further education and academic development.

After submitting a professional review report towards the end of 2022, Reza attended an interview earlier this month before being awarded CEng status.

“I’m thrilled and honoured to have been nominated as a chartered engineer by the board of the IOM3,” said Reza.

“Being part of the leading professional bodies is a dream come true as this gives me extra values and high career excellence when dealing with external bodies or clients in the professional industries.

“Following months of hard work and years of academic and engineering work experience has led me to achieve this title.”

Reza was supported by colleagues at the BBA throughout the process and he placed a level of gratitude to all those who played a part in this success.

“Thanks to British Board of Agrément colleagues for their continuous support,” Reza highlighted. “Special thanks to Hardy Giesler, Morteza Aboutalebi, Karol Ledzion and Seyed Tajallifar and all who participated in the process of such achievement, and thanks to the board of IOM3 staff for their valuable support.

“Carrying this prestigious status will help me towards my short term and long-term goals within my professional career.”

From all of us at the BBA, many congratulations, Reza.
