Coronavirus (CoVID-19) – Important Notice 

As you will know, a new Pandemic has occurred due to a virus called Coronavirus (CoVid-19), which originated in Wuhan, China and causes symptoms such as fever, cough, muscle pain and shortness of breath.

Generally, coronavirus can cause more severe symptoms in people with weakened immune systems, older people, those with long-term conditions like diabetes, cancer and chronic lung disease and pregnant women.

We are following Government advice and we expect all our visitors to do the same.

We request that you do not visit BBA if you fall within the following groups:

   –  A high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back

   – A new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly.

The following people are required to stay indoors and avoid contact with other people:

Those who have travelled to the UK, in the last 14 days, from Iran, Hubei Province in China, special        care zones in South Korea – even if you do not have symptoms

Those who have travelled since 9 March from Italy – even if you do not have symptoms

Those who have travelled in the last 14 days from any other high-risk areas (see below) and have   one or more of the following.

   – A cough, high temperature, muscle pain or shortness of breath – even if your symptoms are mild.

   – Those who have come into contact with a known coronavirus patient in the last 14 days.

BBA is currently consider the following countries and areas to be of high risk:

  –  Mainland China outside of Hubei Province

  –  South Korea outside of the special care zones

  – Cambodia

  – Hong Kong

  – Japan

  – Laos

  – Malaysia

  – Myanmar

  – Singapore

  – Taiwan

   – Thailand

   – Vietnam

   – Spain

What this means for your visit to BBA premises?:

We may ask all visitors about their travel history when they arrive. This is for your safety and the safety of others. If you are within the groups listed above, we will respectfully ask that you follow the advice given and do not access the premises. Do consider either holding skype or video meetings where possible or postponing your trip if a face to face meeting is required. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
