We have been made aware of instances where individuals have made unsolicited calls or arrived at buildings without prior appointment, claiming to represent the BBA and wanting to carry out installation inspections.

Our BBA inspectors will never arrive at your home unannounced.

Inspections of works are arranged in advance, the number can be checked against our switchboard number, and any member of staff contacting you will be able to answer any questions you have about the inspection.

Should you have any doubt about the veracity of a caller or visitor claiming to be from the BBA, please get in touch with us directly. If you ask for their name, we will be able to verify the caller’s identity for you.
